Don't go.

If you turn around and leave me in like a week... SO HELP ME, I'll miss you like crazy for a whole year! --goodness knows you don't show up until July as of late-- Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person living in Utah that doesn't really care for Fall.. but she's just not as wonderful as you are! "Yeah but, she's got all sorts of pretty leaves!" ..you know what I say to that? I'll take every shade of green on my leaves over orange and firey-fart colors any day! Granted.. those colors are pretty. I've digressed..

Dang, I definitely didn't get enough of you this time around, so hopefully you'll stick around indefinitely. I don't care if weather people and politicians freak out, GLOBAL WARM IT UP!!

WARM WARMNESS FOREVER!

I declare endless summer. Andrew and I want to move to Hawaii for this movement to be real for us. ..seriously debating it (well, I am at least, ha).

Mrs. Dyer & I should start a petition of some sort to make this official. Or, this post IS the petition, and you can sign in a 'comment.' Do it. Pledge your agreeance! Or maybe I could turn into the "Blue Witch" or maybe a "Green Witch"..like in Narnia.. and make it Summer, but never Labor Day (Narnia clarification: the white witch makes it winter, but never Christmas). I'd prefer to be called the Blue or Green Mermaid if that's the case. That sounds better.

I love him so much, I wish I could be there everyday like the good ol' summer time. Instead, I'm in the land of Utah, where it's really cold, the leaves are falling, and what... there's snow?! Yep. It's not sticking around, but it's falling none the less.

Pumpkin

Okay, so aside from real living pumpkins (we haven't carved a pumpkin since we've been married, sad? possibly.. but I do enjoy a solid living gourd sitting on my floor) I don't do much in the way of Fall decor. I know, crazy.. but honestly, I don't really like it. In fact, I generally can't stand how 'country' or 'Utah' most October and November decor happens to be. It just isn't classy in my opinion (for the most part). Crafters and craft enthusiasts, don't hate me. Christmas is a different and lovely scenario all together (I look forward to sharing things I find that are lovely during that holiday season). Anyway, I've digressed, sorry... my point in bringing this up, is that there is HOPE! I found a small precious item that I wouldn't mind housing for the season. So my friends, precious & tastefully done fall decor is out there, so snatch it when you come upon it!

It's Raining Sunshine

Today is refreshing. Literally.
The air is full of rain, hail, thunder, lightning, & sunshine? Yes, I don't know how they've pulled it off up there, but they're offering all types of weather at the same time. It's magical!
Fall is here, and I forgot how much I've missed my boots!
And with the temperament of the sky, it feels only appropriate to listen to a playlist full of Frou Frou, Fort Minor, Eve 6, The Fray, LL Cool J, Keane, & Eminem. Some might call my taste eclectic, and I would happily agree! Call it what you may, but it definitely works for today. (:

We're home now.. and couldn't be happier. (:
I've forgotten how much I love Provo in the summer, it's gorgeous outside. I'm on the hunt for work, and Andrew is just plugging away getting his portfolio going as much as possible before school starts. Other than that, we're just playing and enjoying what's left of the sun!

Yes, it's that time of year again ...almost.

And not like I need any more swimsuits. Goodness knows I have more than is necessary for any one woman to own in a lifetime, although I do wear them out with plenty of salt water & surfing.
Anyway, these Nordy's finds already have me drooling for the middle of summer. (the bottom right: let's face it.. doesn't look functional whatsoever, but is definitely insanely darling).

I would like to dedicate this post to the lovely circular glow that's casting soft yellowish-white rays in the above photograph. Yes, the sun. It's been very good to me lately, and I am very pleased to officially announce spring. Yes my friends.. it's here. Forget the groundhog, I'm calling the shots around here.
Granted, I'd much rather be sharing the warm beams of light with the cool of the moving Pacific, but I'll take warm sunshine anyway I can get it.
