I want to make one of these side tables. I'm so serious right now it's insane. What a perfect coffee table/work area/night stand.. yada yada you can move it wherever you want and thus it BECOMES whatever you want! And if I were in a place that was more permanent than our 3 month residence, I'd do it right now.

I mean honestly all you need:
- Wood pallet
- 4 industrial wheels
- 48"x40" sheet of glass (this is where it can get crafty. pick your poison!)
- Screws
- And maybe some lacquer if you want to pimp your wood (this can also be a craft-tastic moment to let your individuality shine.)

Guys when I get back to Provo, this is a done deal.
I'm not even kidding you. I'm excited.

Eucalyptus..

..in the bathroom.

Seriously, this is genius. I don't know why I haven't thought of this, or why I didn't learn this while taking my aromatherapy course!
Take some fresh sprigs of eucalyptus and tie them from your shower head. While the shower steams the room, the eucalyptus will do wondrous things for your well being!

What a neat concept to add a spa like feel and smell to your very own shower.. especially while we begin to endure the winter!

PS. You would buy eucalyptus from a florist (for fellow Provinians, The Flower Patch would be your best bet, although I wouldn't be surprised to find some at Lowes or the Home Depot or any garden center for that matter). I learned that much while doing floral arrangements with Missy McGrath. They're a very inexpensive succulent, so it makes for a win-win. (:

RSVP Straws

We use straws in this house. Okay, I use straws in this house. For smoothies, hot chocolate & chocolate milk, rooibos tea, and what not (drink connoisseur.. always)..
I hate that cruddy disposable ones from fast food places crack and break, and most have a tacky stripe or two running down the side.

How beautiful are these.. and COMPLETELY reusable friendly!?
Did anyone out there KNOW that these even existed? Not to mention I bet they keep your drink nice and cool on the way up!

I want a set.

Jewelry Armoire

So I have quite the collection of jewelry. I go in spurts of not really wearing any, to wearing way to much.. and I love it that way. (: So I have an armoire from Walmart and the style is kinda bleh (unless I were to repaint it, which would be a pain with so much detail work!), so I was perusing for no good reason (not like I can afford to buy a new one right about now).. and found THIS!! How convenient! And we could use a quality stand up mirror!... check it...

Blackberry... Watch?

Yep. Apparently James Bond style convenience will be available for all mankind in February of next year. Now I'm not a blackberry nut, I'm not any kind of a cell phone nut for that matter, but I think this is pretty nifty. My dad might get a kick out of it (he's pretty obsessed with watches AND his blackberry). It'll alert you via vibrate & alerts and offer a desktop to view texts, receive calls via bluetooth (which I think 'talking to yourself' is a funny thing, but I imagine it's convenient), and whatnot while having your phone elsewhere. Crazy. Check it out..

Speaking of mid-section wearing items, can you say cutest version of a fanny pack I've ever seen!? Yeah, because that's what it is, a butt/hip/shoulder purse that is just darling! It adds as a functional accessory! I don't like having to continually hike purse handles up my arm in the fall/winter when I've got a thick coat on ..so DILEMMA SOLVED! (:
