ASPIRATIONS

CALL ME OLD FASHIONED, BUT I'VE FOUND A NEW DESIRE IN MY HEART RECENTLY. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE DAY THAT WE OWN A HOME, SO THAT I CAN GARDEN!! I ASPIRE TO BE A WONDERFUL GARDENER. I KNOW THEY'RE A LOT OF WORK, BUT I FEEL LIKE IT WILL BE SOMETHING I'LL ENJOY. I MOSTLY WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A FEW RAISED VEGGIE GARDENS SINCE THAT'S USUALLY MORE THAN HALF OF MY GROCERY LIST EVERY WEEK! BUT I'D LOVE A SMALL GROVE OF ALL KINDS OF FRUIT TREES & FLOWERS SURROUNDING MY HOUSE.

or something fabulous like this!!

MY MOTHER ALWAYS SEEMED TO HAVE A ROTTEN THUMB, BUT I THINK MY LITTLE NUBB WILL HAVE THE PERFECT TOUCH. HAHA. I'VE NEVER LIKED HOME & GARDEN MAGAZINES, BUT AS OF LATE I LOVE LOOKING THROUGH THEM, THEY FILL MY MIND WITH TONS OF WONDERFUL IDEAS!

ANYWAY.. I FIGURE I'LL JUST READ UP ON GARDENS & WATCH THE SHOWS SO THAT I'LL BE TOTALLY PREPARED A COUPLE YEARS FROM NOW. :)

Totally with you on the garden thing. We considered asking the HOA if we could plant out in front of our condo, but we get too little sun there. In larger cities, you can buy plots in a community garden. I wish they had that here.

Hahaha... that's so funny because we started a garden and we both really enjoy it! of course our's are in old beach buckets but we've got three veggies growing! I thought I was just getting old now that I look forward to things such as grocery shopping and gardening but it's good to know that I'm not alone. :)

It is way easier than you think, girl! Trust me, if I can grow tomatoe plants out of a dirty old shoe, you can grow anything anywhere. Ask me if you need tips, I love gardening too!
